@lavamaster530 You're basically holding the racket from the bottom. Sort of like twisting your hand around. Or rather, you're not flipping the racket around, you're flipping your hand around. Hitting at 1 would give you a very flat shot. Hope that helped!

hey coach, I am a beginner and I liked your tutorials . I watched your video a few times now and I dont get what the difference between bevel# 1 and 5 is. Like Lavamaster indicated they are the same, aren't they? If so, why are you stressing so much about Bevel#5 ....I guess there is some significance about it that you didnt explain in your video.

semi-western is an inbetween from eastern and western. You get top-spin and penetration with semi-western.
