thx i was confused i used to serve holding it right on the 2nd bevel instead of 2nd/3rd (as in the left of the 2nd blvl, wen u hold it - its almost like u cant even turn the racket wen its like that)

@navy4life1220 Not really - the continental grip is a universal grip that can be used for forehands and backhands - usually for slice strokes and volleys as this grip is the easiest to use when you are striking the ball from high to lowK

Semi western is the best grip for a forehand.

ok this really explain exactly where to out your hand, whenever someone explains where to put tmy hand, they only say "put it here" this is much better and specific!!! time to test if it works for my serve now.(i have a sucky serve)

I've pefected all these continental, western & estern grips..but I could'n able to hit the ball with my racket..I dunno why..

greaat. just this week i decided to lay down my eastern grip and change it to continental. that brightens up my day because with the video that was shared, i now have confidence that the grip i am currently using is continental. haha! |
