Some of you people just need to keep your damn mouths shut. The drill is a useful one; one step at a time is the best way to teach beginners.

it's a progression for beginners, you start at the yoke, than move your hand down. try it. if you crop up on the grip. you have more control of the head of the racquet--centripetal acceleratoin f=mv/r2 and r is the radius of your frame(length) the farther away, the more force you have to apply to accelerate it.

use your left hand on the top of the racquet, gives you more control of your frame

As far as I know, holding the racquet at the throat is the accepted method for teaching beginners proper volley technique. Looks like a valuable drill.

wow the grip is wayyyyyy oofffff like hes they're holding it at the yoke! like ppl its called continental grip...right hand on the bottom and when u casually hold ur racquet down it should be paralell wit ur legs.
