you don't know how tennis works... this is to avoid being out of balance, injury and specially improper position if you don't follow the mechanics., improper position leaves you vulnerable when the ball comes back at you...! understand?

this is stupid. Just said he jump to create space for acceleration.

1.20. This is a running backwards front foot hop with a side kick for balance. Use this when you have a floating ball. Federer uses this a lot, ripping a ball outside-in down the line. I would teach this to advanced players!

yea i dont know about the color coding part. I can see this guy is hanging out in no mans land. if this wasn't a drill, i'm not sure how effective his overall game would be. and what did the first half of this video have to do with the second? i dunno.

Yep. The follow through is made so that proper stroke mechanics are made and you will not get injured. Also gives more push on the ball. But you can't affect the ball once it leaves the strings..
siegeperilous (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Babolat3216:Right. Once the ball leaves the strings, you're no longer touching the ball, so your actions can no longer affect that ball, correct?
